Iako se očekivalo da Chelsea uzme tri boda, nije uspio osvojiti nijedan. Odlučujuči i pobjednički gol odluke postignut je već u 22. minuti. Chelseajev golman Mendy bio je neoprezan, skrivio je jedanaesterac, a Sigurdsson je bio siguran s 11 metara za 1:0.
